Delta Charlie’s Bar & Grill is a joint venture with the Kelcher Brothers and the City of Dallas as the sole restaurant at the Dallas Executive Airport. They began serving American cuisine to the guests of the airport and surrounding communities, as well as stocking a full bar for the travelers, but that wasn’t enough for them. Mark and Dirk Kelcher knew they had a unique opportunity to bring adventure and entertainment to the residents and guests of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with a Dinner & Flight package. They created a scrumptious 3-course meal for 2 followed by a scenic flight over the main Dallas attractions. As the hype increased, so did the number of planes flying at once, allowing them to accommodate as many excited guests as possible. They currently have planes running every week from Wednesday thru Sunday. Book a Dinner & Flight today at www.DinnerFlight.com.
Our Owners – The Kelcher Brothers
Just out of college, most kids begin searching for the first job to start their career, but not Mark and Dirk Kelcher. They decided to create their own career, embarking on a journey which has taken them to heights they never imagined. With what began as living the dream of every kid in their 20’s, Mark and Dirk Kelcher turned the dream into a reality and life-long career venture. The Kelcher Brothers started their first bar, Jack’s Pub and Volleyball Club, in 1994, giving them the knowledge and experience needed for their next 20 years in the food and beverage industry.
After selling Jack’s Pub in 2006, Dirk and Mark Kelcher followed their love of music to their next two ventures, the Gypsy Tea Room and Inferno Lounge. With many of their staff members from Jack’s Pub, the Kelcher Brotherss took the live music venues to new heights, allowing them to use their business and finance educations to build the businesses to a level at which they could sell to bigger companies for a sizeable profit.
Mark and Dirk Kelcher have made a huge splash in the festival & event circuit in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex over the last 20 years, working their way into the coveted position of being the go-to name for some of the largest festivals in the metroplex. Where did the Kelcher Brothers go next? Restaurants of course! Because their experience was surrounded around liquor and music, Mark and Dirk Kelcher joined forces with the owners of The Green Room in order to expand their knowledge and learn from some of the best in the business, while looking for their next venue. They now own and operate 3 restaurants, 2 sports bars, 2 craft beer bars, and 1 catering & concessions company with many more on the horizon.
